COUNCIL & COMMITTEES
The council is comprised of a mayor and 11 councillors who represent the district’s five wards.

In addition to the monthly Council meeting, the following standing committees meet bi-monthly – Stragetic Planning and Policy, Assets, Finance, Hearings and Te Roopu Ahi Kaa. Additional meetings may be scheduled as appropriate.
